The ERC – Emerging Researchers Consortium is held in the convent of San Marco in Monteortone, in the Euganean Hills, 15 kilometres from Padova on June 22 the whole day and on June 23, lunch time included.
The JFLA – Journal of Finance, Law and Accounting is held in the Department of Historical and Geographic Sciences and The Ancient World in the Padova City Center on June 23 afternoon and on June 24 the whole day.

Bologna “Guglielmo Marconi” Airport
From the airport, travel to Padova (120 km) by train. The airport is linked to the train station (6 km) by Aerobus.

Bus stop: viale della Pace, Autostazione,15-minute walk from the old city centre. This is near to Padova Railway Station for all local connections. The are local bus stops serving Padova nearby and the tram stop outside the station serves line SIR1.
HOW TO REACH MONTEORTONE
BY CAR (toll motorways)
For those travelling on the A4 Turin-Trieste motorway, the recommended exit is Padova Ovest, whether coming from Milan or Venice; from here, continue on the Tangenziale Ovest (Corso Australia) until exit no. 6 for Abano. Then take the road to Abano, at the roundabout take the first exit on the right and follow the signs for Circonvallazione Ovest – Monteortone/stadio. After taking Via Monteortone, continue for about 500 metres until you reach our spa centre. If you are arriving from the A13 motorway (Bologna-Padua), exit at Terme Euganee, follow the signs for Abano Terme, then follow the signs for Circonvallazione Ovest – Monteortone/stadio. After turning onto Via Monteortone, continue for about 500 metres until you reach the c0nvent spa.
BY TRAIN
The nearest railway station is Terme Euganee in Montegrotto, on the Bologna-Padua line; all main trains stop there. Alternatively, Padova station, on the Milan-Venice line, is equally convenient, with all trains stopping there. Buses on lines A, M, T and AT depart hourly from the station square for Abano and Montegrotto (journey time 30-45 minutes). Both stations have taxi services.
BY AIR
The plane can also be the right way to reach Abano and Montegrotto. The nearest airport is Venice (60 km), where the major national and international airlines fly. From here, you can reach the Euganean Spas by taxi or by taking the direct Airport-Abano-Montegrotto bus line (travel time 1 hour 30 minutes). The international airports of Treviso (70 km) and Verona (80 km) are also fairly close and easy to reach.
MONTEORTONE-PADOVA CONNECTION
We are organizing a private bus service starting from Padova and arriving in Monteortone on June 21 late afternoon. Infos still to come!

As Monteortone is a relatively isolated location, we will soon publish details about the possibility of staying overnight at the San Marco convent in Monteortone.
