ACCOUNTING WORKSHOP (JUNE 25-26, 2020) – CALL FOR PAPERS

Dear Colleagues and Friends of the Accounting Summer Camp,
among the many side effects of the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 and restrictions to traveling and social gathering … we add another one: we have decided to
cancel the IV Edition of the Accounting Summer Camp (Padova, 24-26 June).
Whilst we fully appreciate this is a very minor problem compared to the tragedy affecting many people, we are still quite sad.
The Accounting Summer Camp builds on the strong interactions and social gatherings we ensured over the last years – hence we believe this is not an event we could run online.
Unfortunately there is no platform that allows sharing a true glass of wine, morning coffees and lunch (yet).

Looking forward to seeing you in 2021.

All the best.
Stay safe
Amedeo & Max

We invite submissions of papers in all areas of accounting research. We encourage submissions of empirical studies employing novel data and approaches both in terms of data gathering (e.g. field studies, experiments, surveys, hand-collected) or settings (e.g. private firms, European data, banks and financial services, entrepreneurial firms) to answer research questions of interests to regulators and practitioners.

Original papers to be considered for the Workshop should be submitted no later than April 20th, 2020 via the online submission system, or alternatively via email (Amedeo.pugliese@unipd.it or Massimiliano.bonacchi@unibz.it).

Please make sure that the manuscript does not include information about the authors but that it is included in a separate file. All submitted papers will undergo a blind referee process. Papers accepted for presentation will be assigned a discussant to foster debate and receive additional feedback.

Participation to the Workshop will attract a fee of Euros 150; a limited number of papers will be invited for presentation: presenters will be financially supported in their traveling and accommodation. The Conference will start at lunchtime on Thursday 25, ending on Friday 26 June before lunch.
